Unfortunately, we regret to inform you that, due to unforeseen circumstances, the funds raised through the GoFundMe campaign did not reach the intended recipients, Her Parents. Many are upset with the GoFundMe outcome. The BEST way to deal with this at this moment is to SPREAD THE WORD: PLEASE REQUEST A REFUND! Although Kierra was denied what rightfully belonged to her, YOUR donation is guaranteed for 1 year.

We are saddened by this unfortunate outcome from GoFundMe, they will not replace the funds taken from Kierra.  We did inquire if GoFundMe has an appeal process, awaiting response. 05/31/24 Update:

Our daughter, Kierra passed away on 05/13/2024 from a brain aneurysm following complications.  Kierra fought hard for 9 days. Her legacy will live on through the KeekSmile Foundation. We will bring awareness to this "Silent Killer" by Inspiring Smiles & Spreading Positivity as Kierra did.

We will be meeting with the funeral home today. We have been lovingly overwhelmed with all of your support and stories about Kierra. It has helped us greatly. She has truly touched hundreds of people with her contagious beautiful smile, laugh and positivity.

We continue to work with The GoFundMe Investigation Team to get the funds that rightly belong to Kierra. At this time, we do ask ALL those who donated to the GoFundMe page,

It is confirmed. Kierra is home! NEXT STEPS: planning/funding her homegoing ceremony with loving family & friends.  I can't say this enough, WE LOVE ALL of YOU for LOVING her!

05/25/24 Update:

JUST IN! Kierra will be in Illinois today at approximately 4pm. We will confirm once she has landed. NEXT STEP: planning/funding the homegoing ceremony at the funeral home. More details to come. Thank you everyone for your continued kindness & generosity. We will humbly continue to accept donations for Kierra's funeral cost.

 05/24/24 Update:

We thank you for all the loving outreaches and support during this painful time.  Once Kierra is back home in Illinois, we will schedule a Celebration of Life & viewing at the funeral home. Notifications will be posted here and through social media. Please know, WE LOVE ALL of YOU for LOVING HER.  

05/22/24 Update:

 Prior to getting control of Kierra's GoFundMe page, all the money donated was gone. It was not used for Kierra's hospital bills, bringing Kierra back home or funeral cost. We are working diligently with the GoFundMe team to rectify this situation.

05/21/24 Update:

This site was created to continue the efforts in bringing Kierra home from Las Vegas and assist with expenses she has incurred. We want you to know 100% of the money raised will be used for Kierra's funeral cost, homegoing ceremony and expenses.

After a courageous 9-day battle, Kiki has peacefully become an angel. Your outpouring of love and support has been incredible.

We are now raising funds to bring Kiki's body back to Illinois for a proper homegoing ceremony. Your continued generosity is deeply appreciated as we honor Kiki's memory and celebrate her life. Thank you for being a part of this journey.

Kierra (Kiki) Veal endured a challenging battle with a brain aneurysm. The journey to recovery is extensive, we are rallying together to support her.
